Open House

Thank you SO much to all of our families for bringing your sweet Firsties to Open House this past Wednesday! I had so much fun getting to meet all of you and being able to watch everyone explore our classroom and become comfortable with our "Home Away from Home!"

I would like to remind parents to please complete all of the paperwork that was at your child's desk at open house and send it back to school on the first day. Also, please send back the paperwork that was mailed to you with the welcome letter!

I cannot wait to get to know all of our new First Graders! We are going to have TONS of fun this year getting to know each other, building a community in our classroom and learning a variety of skills to help us become life long learners!

Remember that First graders who have a good routine at night, will do very well at school in the mornings. After dinner, make sure to:

*take a shower or bath

*Have a healthy snack

*Read a bedtime story with your grown up

*Get tucked in and go to sleep (Around 8pm is a good time for Firsties!)

*Wake up, get dressed and have a healthy breakfast!

*Arrive to school on time for morning recess---boys and girls need exercise and time with friends before school!
