First Grade Market

What a huge success our First Grade Market was today!!! We had a terrific time this morning demonstrating our learning about economics to our whole school as well as to all of the moms, dads and other family members that came out to support us! I cannot say thank you enough for all of your hard work and participation at home in helping your child make their goods for our super fun Market! There were so many great conversations being had throughout the entire morning about their learning!

I was so happy to see so many of you who were able to take time out of your day to come visit and shop til you dropped (sorry I did not get pictures of everyone that made it out)! I know it is not always easy to come to school during the day with work schedules and it is not always possible to volunteer and come to events when they are during the day, however we are so grateful for you taking the time whenever you can to be an active participant in our child's learning!
