The Talking Zoo!

Wow, what a day! Although I was unable to be at the talking zoo, I know that our class did an amazing job presenting their projects to family and friends on Friday morning! Your child has been hard at work conducting online research, reading nonfiction books about animals, writing informational stories, drafting and editing their work, memorizing facts to share, and even making animal habitats for the final project!!! These Firsties were rock stars and did an amazing job on their projects!! You can see a short video below of the fun both first grade classes had at our Talking Zoo!!

I would like to thank all of you for spending the time making costumes with your child as well. They have been talking about their ideas and what their costumes would look like since the beginning of these research projects and have definitely been fired up about this learning experience!

Not only did first grade get to present their learning, but Kindergarten did as well. For all of those who came to our Morning at the Museum, THANK YOU for participating in Kindergarten's learning projects as well.
